ABOUT ELIZABETH

Elizabeth Frattaroli grew up on a small Scottish island where she spent her days walking along the beach and making up tales of faraway places in her head. Today, she lives in another seaside town on the East Coast of Scotland, and spends her time writing contemporary stories for young adults and children.

Her fascination with folklore, world mythology and dark fairy tales tends to creep into her writing, and her work has been listed for the Mslexia Children’s Novel Competition, the WriteMentor Novel Award, The Bath Children’s Novel Award and the Wells Festival of Literature Book for Children Award, as well as being highly commended for the Kelpies Prize for Writing. Her current work in progress, THE SECOND DEATH OF LUCY ANDERSON, is a YA horror and romance mash up, which has just been shortlisted in The Bath Children’s Novel Award. When she’s not writing, she enjoys the cinema, K-pop, the theatre, and reading, as well attempting to sketch and make art for fun.
